Frankincense was one of the three gifts offered to baby Jesus by the wise men at his birth. At the time of Jesus, Frankincense was used predominantly as a perfume or as an incense. Frankincense was also one of the gifts that were presented to kings at that time. The other two are Gold and Myrrh.
