The parable of the budding fig tree was spoken about in Matthew 24; Luke 21 and Mark 13. In the book of Matthew, the parable of the budding fig tree was spoken about in chapters 32 and 33. If you start reading from verse one, you'll see that in this chapter, Jesus Christ was talking about the signs of the end time. The parable was to tell us that these signs will let us know when his coming is at hand. "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors" ( Matthew 24:33)
