The priests and prophets of the bible always had significant messages for the people of the land. What was the message that Zechariah brings, and what does it teach us?

Zechariah delivers lessons about the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the Temple; the gathering of the people of Israel, and Israel's triumph over its enemies. But the most important prophecy is in the messianic passages. He foresees Christ's mortal ministry and his eventual resurrection.
