Ezekiel is widely regarded as the prophet of hope. The fall of Jerusalem changed his message from a message of repentance to a message of hope. It was a moment of uncertainty for the Israelites, Jerusalem is fallen and the Israelites were scattered around the earth. In that time of uncertainty, God brought a message of hope to the Israelite through Ezekiel, "For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. (Ezekiel 34:11)
