What does the Bible say about date fruit?
Asked 4 years ago
Hi, I'm wondering if date fruit bears any significance. Does the bible say anything about date fruit? Do the fruit or the palms symbolize anything?

The first time we read about a palm tree is in Exodus 15:27. The leaves were used for weaving baskets, ropes, rugs and as roofs for the houses. The trunk was used to build structures with and the fruits were eaten. A palm branch symbolizes peace, victory, triumph and eternal life. The date is a symbol of honesty and righteousness.
