How does Christmas caroling work?
Asked 3 years ago
Hi, we would like to spread the festive season this upcoming Christmas. Do we form a group and knock on doors, singing carols? Or is there some special arrangement that we need to make first? Any great carol ideas would be appreciated too.

Caroling is a great Christmas tradition for the family. Depending on where you want to go carolling, it is best to ask the local authorities if you need special permission. Going door to door is called wassailing (spreading the joy of Christmas through hymns). Usually, when the group walks in the street singing, the people will come out of their houses to join the festivities. Dressing up for the event makes it interesting.
