What was the mountain called that Jesus was crucified on?

Asked 3 years ago

Where did Jesus' crucifixion happen again? I remember the walk to Via Dolores, but I can't recall which mountain it was on.

Jesus was crucified on a mountain referred to as Golgotha which is Aramaic for skull, as the mount resembled the shape of a skull. It is also called Calvary from the Latin, Calva meaning bald head or skull. Today the site is preserved in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
