What does Jesus' resurrection have to do with Easter?
Asked 3 years ago
I'm confused. I don't understand how chocolate eggs and bunnies relate to the resurrection of Jesus?

According to experts, Bunnies, eggs, yellow chicks as Easter gifts all stem from pagan roots. They were only integrated into Easter celebration. Eggs are a symbol of fertility which signifies new life in relation to Easter. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ bring new life to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ. He bore our sins and paid our debts. There is no more condemnation to anyone who accepts him. Accepting him cleans all your records of sins, and you begin a new life as a new creature.
