Does the name 'Tabor' mean anything specific? Why was a mountain given that name?

According to research, the name Tabor is primarily a gender-neutral name of Hebrew origin that means Pinnacle or Height. In the Bible, Tabor is a place name - Mount Tabor is a mountain that stood between northern and southern Israel.
