Is the Judean Desert part of the Negev desert?

The Judean desert lies east of Jerusalem and descends to the Dead Sea. The Judean Desert overlies the Negev in the south and many of its parts in the West Bank. The Judean Desert is known for the Wadis (dry river beds) that runs through it. The Negev contains the oldest discovered surface on Earth.
