Jaffa is an old port city on Israel's Mediterranean coast. Jaffa was originally a Canaanite city about 4,000 years ago. Since 1950, Jaffa has been a unified city with neighboring Tel Aviv, and it is now officially called Tel Aviv-Yafo. Jaffa is in Israel and is home to a mixed population of Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
