Where is Timna found in the Bible?

Asked 3 years ago

Is the Timna Park, found north of Eilat, in Israel's Negev Desert, the same one mentioned in the bible?

Timnah was a Philistine city in Canaan. We read about this city in Judges 14. It is in this city that Samson met his wife. However, this is not the same place as Timna Park, north of Eilat. The Timna park is never mentioned in the Bible but was used for copper mining during the Biblical period.
