Who prophesied about the birth of Jesus?

Isaiah was the prophet who prophesied about the birth of Jesus. We read about it in Isaiah 7:14, where it was foretold that a virgin (pure, unmarried woman) will conceive a baby. In Matthew 1:23, we read about the fulfilment of this prophecy.
