Is frankincense gifted in the nativity scene the same as Boswellia?

I'm looking for the same frankincense that was gifted to Jesus by the wise men when he was born to burn for Christmas. Would it be the same as Boswellia?

Frankincense is extracted from the resin of Boswellia trees. Today frankincense is also extracted from B. frereana, known as the Yigaar tree or Luban ( the common name for frankincense). So, yes, biblical frankincense is the same as the incense extracted from Boswellia resin or gum.
