I'm wondering why Simon and Andrew followed Jesus?

The Bible records two accounts of how Andrew and Peter became disciples of Jesus Christ. Bible scholars believe that both events happened, but one happened before the other. If we want to focus on the account in John chapter 1, we will see that Andrew was first a disciple of John the Baptist. John the Baptist introduced Jesus as the Lamb of God in verse 36. In verses 37-38, two of John disciples followed Jesus immediately. Andrew was one of the disciples; we can say that Andrew followed Jesus because of what John the Baptist said about Jesus. In verse 41, Andrew findeth his brother, Simon Peter and introduced him to Jesus Christ. We can say that Peter believed in Jesus because of what Andrew told him. They both believed that Jesus Christ was the Messiah and Son of God.
