Andrew was one of the disciples of Jesus Christ. In John 1:37-41, Andrew followed Jesus Christ and introduced his brother Simeon to the Messiah. He preached about Jesus as far as the black sea. He was the one who brought the Gentiles to Jesus. He was later sentenced to death by crucifixion in Greece.
From Andrew's story, we learn that one of our duties as followers of Christ is to bring our relatives and loved ones to the saviour. Secondly, we should learn that it is our responsibility to preach the gospel to everyone at any cost. Thirdly, we should not be afraid of persecution as Christians, we should be ready to labour and carry the cross.
