Which star did the three wise men follow in the bible?

Hi, which star did the three wise men follow to Bethlehem? I want to tell the story to my children on Christmas eve and possibly even be able to point out the star in our night sky. Any tips on how to know which star it is would be great. Thanks.

Experts can't agree on which star the three wise men followed. The Star of Bethlehem (Christmas Star) could have been a miraculous sign. Astronomers have linked the star with various celestial bodies and events including Jupiter, Venus, a comet, or a supernova (the birth of a new star).
