Is Christmas a celebration of love?

If so, why is it seen that way? How do you show love at Christmas?

The reason for Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. This act shows God's limitless love for his creatures. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son." The best way to celebrate this love during Christmas is to show love to our neighbours as God has commanded. However, Christians should not only show love during Christmas but should incorporate love into their everyday dealings with their neighbours.
