What should I wear while traveling the Holy Land?
Asked 4 years ago
Are there any cultural differences that I should be aware of, and would I have to wear a headscarf? We'll be going to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, etc. Just a general sight-see and check things out. What would you recommend we pack?

When visiting another country, it is important to keep in mind the differences between your and their cultures. You should pack clothing according to the weather. Wear clothing that covers your shoulders, chest and arms. Make sure you pack comfortable walking shoes, and scarves so you can cover up when you are visiting religious sites. You should be comfortable without being offensive.
