How much of the Western Wall is underground?

Does the Western Wall run deep underground? How much of it can one see and touch?

It is estimated that the section of the Western Wall that is above the ground is just about 62 feet (19m), and the section of the wall which is not at ground level descends an additional 43 feet (13m) down to the start of the wall foundation.
