The Judeo-Christian tradition encompasses the ethical and cultural values held in common by both Christians and Jews. The term was coined in the USA, in the 1940s, to be more inclusive and unite Jews and Christians in the post-World War II years. Judeo-Christian tradition reflects Western culture. These two religions have the same historic ancestry and have much in common.
