What is a Eucharistic Cenacle?
Asked 3 years ago
I have no idea what Eucharistic means, never mind Cenacle. Who here can teach me something new?

The Eucharist or Eucharistic Cenacle is another name for Holy Communion. This religious ritual commemorates the Lord's Last Supper in the Upper Room or Cenacle. The Cenacle was the site of the first Eucharist. Cena is Latin for supper, hence, the Cenacle was the Room of the Last Supper. Eucharist is from the Latin for thanksgiving.
