Yes, Mount Zion is adjacent to the Old City of Jerusalem. Mount Zion is home to the Tomb of King David, the Cenacle, and the Dormition Abbey. Legend has it that when Sultan Suleiman commissioned construction of the Old City walls he intended to have Mt. Zion within the walls, but the architects mistakenly left it out so the Sultan had them executed.
