Did Jesus die on Mount Golgotha?
Asked 4 years ago
I heard that Mount Golgotha outside the city walls of Jerusalem looks like a skull still to this day. Was He really crucified there?

Christ was crucified on Mt. Golgotha (Calvary), a skull-shaped hill. The New Testament tells us Christ was crucified at the "place of the skull" outside the walls of Jerusalem. Since then the walls have been moved. Today Mt. Golgotha is within Jerusalem's Old City walls. In the 4th century, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre was built around Golgotha. Today the site of Christ's crucifixion is within the church.
