Is eating at Dr. Shakshuka in old Jaffa City worth it?
Asked 3 years ago
As a traveler in Israel, would you recommend trying out Dr. Shakshuka? I'm asking here because I'd like to avoid experiencing food poisoning again (joys of India).

Yes. Not only is it an iconic eatery, but they really do serve excellent shakshuka. The menu includes a variety of shakshuka dishes some made with traditional eggs and tomatoes and others with ingredients like cheese and spinach. It is quite an authentic experience, and you might even meet the Doctor himself who still works there!
