Does Israel have any birds of prey? If so, what kind do they have, and where will we be able to see them?

Yes, there are birds of prey in Israel. The country is home to different species of raptors: Eagles, Egyptian Vultures etc. The number of some birds of prey have reduced in recent years. For example, in the winter of 2012, the Griffon reached a low of 110 matured Griffons due to wildlife poisoning. There have also been reports of eagles electrocution in some areas. Weather can be another factor, for example, in the autumn (August to October), The Sooty Falcon is the only bird of prey to nest in Israel.
