Is there something written about Santa Claus in the bible?
Asked 3 years ago
I have been wondering about this entire Christmas story and whether Santa Claus is a biblical figure? I don't seem to recall him being in the bible.

Other than that there is no Santa Claus in the Bible, Carmen's answer is almost completely implausible. Most attribute the Santa narrative to the life of Nicholas of Myra, a fourth century bishop who was present at the Council of Nicea. One of the tales about him is that when three young girls were to be sold into slavery because their parents had no money for dowries, he secretly dropped bags of gold down their chimneys so that they could afford to be married instead of enslaved. He is remembered as the patron saint of children.
