When do you put presents under the Christmas tree?

Do you put presents only on Christmas eve, or before then?

You can put presents under the tree as soon as they are wrapped. But kids might want to open them before Christmas! It also breaks the illusion that Santa brings gifts on Christmas Eve. For this reason, most people place gifts under the tree on Christmas Eve after the kids have gone to bed. Either one is a great family Christmas tradition.
