The siege of Masada does not appear in the Bible. It is an event that took place in approximately 73-74AD (after the death of Christ) towards the end of the First Roman-Jewish War. Although not mentioned in the Bible Masada might have been where David took refuge on his flight from Saul. And he may have referred to Masada in Samuel I 22:4-5, 23:14, 24:22) and in Psalm 18:2, 31, 71:3, 144:2.
