What Christian gifts can I put into an Advent calendar?

I got one of those material calendars with pockets that you hang on the wall for my children, and I'm looking for small religious gifts to put in each day. I want something traditional and preferably no candy. Any suggestions?

Putting small gifts inside the advent calendar is a great idea. Somethings you can put into the calendar:
A Bible verse for each day, explaining the significance of Jesus’s birth.
Family activities, children loves spending quality time together as a family.
Activity sheets, each activity can include a nativity scene or Bible verse.
Small crafts, like the painting of own Christmas decorations.
