I want to bake Christmas cookies. I once had some Italian Christmas cookies, and they were delish! There was a specific name for them. Does anyone here know?

Italian Christmas cookies (as they are called), are soft, buttery, fluffy and melt in your mouth delicious. They are simple and elegant with a similar texture to just set sugar cookies. These cookies can be flavoured with espresso, anise or vanilla. It is iced with an almond glaze and some sprinkles.
