How do you light the candles on an Advent wreath?

Is there a specific order and day in which to light that candles? Which one do I light first, and so forth?

On the first Sunday of Advent, you light one of the purple candles. On the second Sunday, the first purple candle is lit and a second purple candle. On the third Sunday, the first two purple candles are lit and the pink candle. On the last Sunday of Advent, all four coloured candles are lit. On Christmas Eve, all four of the previous candles are lit as well as the white candle.
