October 7th 2023 is a day that will forever be engrained deep within all our minds, otherwise known as the "Black Morning" in Israel.

The country still hasn't returned to pre-October 7th. Families are living with gaping gaps in their hearts whilst friends are still trying to find ways in which to remember their fallen friends. The war has impacted all, and it continuously impacts families, small businesses and the economy in Israel.

That morning, hearts and homes were opened wide as people welcomed the displaced, setting aside their own lives, businesses, and dreams to stand united for a single cause—to restore security to Israel's borders and protect its people. As loved ones left for reserve duty, there was no hesitation, only a deep, shared resolve to defend their homeland.

We are now 10 months into the war. Reserve duty personnel have returned to their homes and have gone back to their lives, however, it wasn't the same, especially with businesses - their once thriving businesses have been hit due to the lack of tourism and more.
